We arrived in the Gambier Islands, French Polynesia, towards the end of May 2013 and were enchanted by the lush island of Mangareva and its pretty town Rikitea.

1/28: Good to be in the calm anchorage off Rikitea on Mangareva after 24 days at sea.
2/28: A common evening exercise: paddling in an outrigger canoe, called Pirogue.
3/28: Soon we've got new pet fish. 4 remoras live under Pitufa now.
4/28: In order to stow away our second Genoa, we had to empty our small forecabin. Incredible how much we stuffed in there...
