1/24: We found a gorgeous kitten at Mele village and Tonga, Rosana and their two kids were happy to send their kitten out with us to live on a boat and have an adventurous life!
2/24: Back on the boat we picked about 350 fleas off him...
4/24: His family came to visit him on the boat.
5/24: He was very small for his age (they said they thought he was about 2 months old), only 500 grams!
6/24: But extremely cuddly and clever! We only had to explain his litter box once :-)
10/24: Waiting to be fed!
12/24: At first he was content just to stay in the cockpit--too many dangers outside: boats, waves, wind...
13/24: Helping with the shopping
17/24: Cautious though (which is great)
18/24: After a few days he dared to venture on deck!
19/24: The whole boat's a big playground full of toys for a cat!
20/24: He already comes running when we call him :-)
21/24: And when he's frightened he quickly returns to a safe lap...
22/24: Smurfy counting the money for his visit to the vet!
23/24: We took the bus and he wanted to see everything that was going on!
24/24: Finally back home: vaccinated, microchipped and tired. Smurfy with his favourite toy: a smurfette our friend Marion crocheted!
