The Chinese have rebuilt the airport of the little island Woleai where barely 1000 people live. For them it's a tactical and political investment, for Woleai it was a good reason to dance and party (and hopefully get some tourism in the future). The president arrived by plane, then there was lots of waiting, then long speeches, then the red ribbon was caught and finally the dance group came out! The women had practiced topless, but all but one put on bras for the event... Despite our protests we were treated like the other honorary (and invited) guests, got flowers and lunch ;-)
