1/30: The houses of Simon's clan are hidden in the mangroves.
2/30: We took the dinghy to pick up Simon for a snorkel.
4/30: He pointed out special species for us not to miss.
5/30: Generally the reef is in a good condition.
6/30: Quite a few of the acropora (staghorn, elkhorn) died a few years ago, but the remaining ones only showed bleached tips this year and will hopefully recover.
7/30: Species that we mainly saw bleached in the rest of the Solomons thrive here.
13/30: Mainly small fishies roam the reef, the bigger ones get speared at night...
14/30: Parrotfish cleaning the reef that is struggling with algae.
15/30: Simon tries to keep a haven for giant clams.

25/30: The next day we returned to Simon's family. His brother Charles is making a roof from sago palm for a new house.
