Anything but square

Worldwide the rainforest is shrinking, at least on Pitufa the jungle’s taking over. We’ve had unsettled rainy and windy weather for the last week, ideal conditions to work inside–and for a jungle to grow. While Christian is working on his programming project I’m slowly sewing my way around the salon.

It’s not an easy job as each piece has a different size and format, many of them rounded, so I have to creatively invent each and every one. The motto of the upholsterer’s guild must be: “Thou shalt not do right angles on boats or any stupid layman (or laywoman) could remake thy precious sofa!”

Is your little girl now 21?! I see the pic marked dec . She seems like an amazing people cat that has to be right there supervising all the goings on. Hopefully with her age shes been healthy .
Im amazed at your experiences and loved the piece on the Gambierr, especially the kitty pics . She doesnt run away obviously but you bring her ashore on a dingy? In a carrier or does she just know what to do?
The pic of the massive cockroach on your stove in your house there was frightful. Are they everywhere in the houses since they dont seem to have too many screens in most of the islands.
Safe travels to the 3 of you.
